Vac Care Instructions
- If machine starts to beep or alarm sound please contact the KCI rep or wound care specialist.
- Please call if there is redness around the sponge site, increasing pain, or change in drainage color or foul smell.
- Keep edges of sponge off normal skin
- If dressing becomes dislodged or the machine malfunctions call your home health agency.
- If excessive bleeding occurs please call the office.
- Do not change settings on machine it is specific for your wound.
- Please bring dressing change and machine with you to all of your office appointments
